How to use it
Turn your merit budget into a documented plan. Set one policy grid that pairs each performance rating with an employee's position in their pay range. The workbook applies your chosen increase percentages to each employee, calculates the total cost and blended increase, and checks the plan against your available budget. Larger increases go to strong performers lower in their ranges, while lower performers or employees near the top receive smaller increases or none. This approach rewards performance and helps close pay gaps at the same time.
