EQ at Work Assessment
Before you start
Emotional intelligence at work
How strong is your EQ when it counts?
A test built only on self-rating measures how you see yourself. The research is blunt about what that overlaps with: established personality traits, rated by the person with the strongest motive to be generous. This one is built differently. Three scenario sections with keyed or research-ranked answers test how you actually read emotions, steady yourself, and handle other people’s heat. One self-view section is scored separately and never as a skill. The report shows both streams, and the gap between them, which is the read no self-report test can give you.
Parts of this assessment have keyed answers, and it is still built for your development, not a grade. Answer with what you would actually do. The report gives you a clear picture of where you are and the two areas to work first.
Reading emotions
Scenario section, keyed answers. Sixteen situations. Name the emotion the circumstances point to.
Steadying yourself
Scenario section, ranked answers. Your own heat, dread, and deflation, and what you actually do with it.
Handling the moment
Scenario section, ranked answers. A teammate in tears, a heated meeting, hard news, an angry stakeholder.
How you see yourself
Self-view section, reported separately. Eighteen statements, so the report can show you the gap.
