Download and open your files
Your purchase comes in a ZIP file. Here is how to download, open, and start using your documents.

Your download link is on your order confirmation page and in your receipt email.
Open your documents
- Find your download link
Your link appears on the confirmation screen after payment and in your receipt email. Search your email for truestephr, including your Promotions and Spam folders.
- Download the ZIP file
Select your download link and save the ZIP file.
- Open the ZIP on your computer
On Windows, right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All. On a Mac, double-click the ZIP file. Work from the extracted folder when editing and saving your documents.
- Open the files on your phone
On iPhone, find the ZIP in Files and tap to extract it. On Android, open Downloads and select Extract. You can read the files on your phone. A computer works best for editing.
- Open Start Here
Start Here lists everything included in your purchase, the suggested order, and your first step.
- Choose your program
Use Microsoft Word and Excel, LibreOffice on a computer, or Google Docs and Google Sheets in a browser. Open PDF guides with your usual PDF reader.
Common questions
Where is my receipt?
Search your email for truestephr, including Promotions and Spam. If you cannot find it, email support@truestephr.com with the name on your order, and we will send another link.
How do I open the ZIP?
On Windows, right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All. On a Mac, double-click it. If the file appears incomplete, download it again.
Can I get another download link?
Yes. Email support@truestephr.com with the name on your order, and we will send a replacement.
Excel shows Protected View
Excel may open downloaded files in Protected View. Select Enable Editing in the yellow bar to begin working.
A formula looks different in Google Sheets
Upload the workbook to Google Drive and open it in Google Sheets. If a formula gives a different result, email us the product name and cell reference. We will check it.
How do I report a file issue?
Email support@truestephr.com with the product name and a short description of what happened. We will help you get the file working.
