What this closes

How to use it

Your first 15 minutes

Step 1 is the Retention and Stay Interview Field Guide, file 6. Work down from there, and by step 5 you do what you said.

  1. Read the Field Guide first. It makes the case for retention, walks through how to run a stay interview, and flags when a conversation needs more than a plan.

  2. Score who to talk to. Open the Workbook’s Flight-Risk Scorer, list the people you most want to keep, and let it rank them by retention priority.

  3. Run the conversation. Use the script and worksheet in the Templates. Ask, listen far more than you talk, and do not promise what you cannot deliver. Turn it into a plan.

  4. Fill the retention action plan, commit to one to three real actions, and log them on the Workbook’s Retention Action Log with an owner and a date. Follow up and re-score.

  5. Do what you said, check back on the dates you set, and re-score people as things change. A stay interview with no follow-through does more harm than none.

Before you buy

Clear answers to the practical questions.

The point of a product page is to let you judge the work before checkout.

What exactly do I receive?

6 PDF guides, 1 Word document, 1 Excel workbook, each one named in the What is inside section above. The purchase is a download, not a subscription, and the files are yours to keep.

Are these the real screenshots?

Yes. The preview images on this page are taken from the current deliverable, so you can judge the structure and writing before buying.

Can I use the files in my business?

The files are designed to be edited for your own internal operations. Review the included license and have legal counsel check decisions that require jurisdiction-specific advice.

What if I need help applying it?

Use the $149 Setup Session for one hour of implementation help on this tool. TrueStep HR does not offer broader consulting engagements. For a legal question, use qualified counsel.

Psychological Safety Playbook

Your team decides how safe it is to speak up by watching what happens to the last person who did. This kit works on exactly that mechanism. It is the manager operating manual for a team that raises problems early and still holds a high bar.
