How to use it
Every open role can be filled three ways: hire directly, run a temp-to-hire trial on an agency bill rate and convert, or pay a direct placement fee. Each path carries a different first-year cost, and the tempto-hire path adds a buyout fee that usually declines as hours are worked and is often waived past a contract threshold. This workbook prices all three paths on the same first-year basis, shows the buyout fee falling hour by hour on the Buyout Schedule tab, weighs converting now against riding the bill rate to the fee waiver, and compares up to ten open roles side by side on the Role Portfolio tab.
