How to use it
Your first 15 minutes
Step 1 is the Performance Review Field Guide, file 7. Work down from there, and by step 5 you edit the Word forms to match your company’s scale and wording.
Read the Field Guide first. It walks through the cycle, the rating scale, calibration, and the legal cautions.
At the start of the cycle, set goals with the SMART goals form, and check in at the midpoint with the mid-cycle form.
Near review time, gather a self-review and complete the manager review for each person.
Open the Workbook. Fill Scale and Settings first, enter proposed ratings, then calibrate as a group and read the Distribution Dashboard and 9-Box Grid.
Edit the Word forms to match your company’s scale and wording, and keep the documentation log running all year.
