How to use it

Your first 15 minutes

Begin with The Caregiver Retention Field Guide and follow the steps in order. At step 5, open Scripts & Templates and use the wording almost verbatim.

  1. Skim the Field Guide, starting with the system at a glance. Fifteen minutes gives you an overview of how the system works and why each part matters.

  2. Open the Tracker, set the As of date, and log every caregiver hired in the last six months. In ten minutes, you can see your 90-day survival rate on the Summary tab.

  3. Use the mentor sheet in Scripts & Templates to assign a mentor to your newest hire before their next shift.

  4. Schedule all six check-ins during each caregiver's first 90 days, then record each one in the Tracker as it happens.

  5. At each check-in, open Scripts & Templates and use the wording almost verbatim. If a caregiver started today, the first shift call is tonight.
